| About Cobra Lounge: Red and black never fails to rock in this West Town lounge located in Ashland Avenue. Cobra Lounge as it is popularly known by blue collar workers and rock star wannabes is the perfect place for rocking and rolling. Cobra, defines a refined Detroit rock city, which looks like an auxiliary prison on the outside with cement blocks and barred windows while the interiors are bordello red, black lacquered tables, black vinyl chairs and chipped brick walls. It features two separate bars covered with glossy automotive paint with flagstone and mosaic tiled walls with a head turner smoking skeleton portrait. There are no televisions hanging around the corners as this lounge is merely for cool talks, cool old-fashioned rocking. Best part, the drinks are very affordable, from Miller to Ginger Ale. Cobra also serves American traditional and classic bar food and boasts of their 8-ounce seared cobra fillet. Enjoy a roster of rock music and feel the vibe of a true rock star only at Cobra.
