Congress Theater presents the one and only Deadmau5 aka Joel Zimmerman is a progressive house and electro house producer from Toronto, Canada. He is known for his club hits “Not Exactly,” “Faxing Berlin,” and “Ghosts N Stuff” to name a few. Deadmau5 has been nominated with over 13 awards in only a year and a half. He is also nominated to be the 11th best DJ in the whole wide world. Some of his awards include 2008 Producer of the Year, 2008 Best Electro House Artist,2008 Best Progressive House Artist and that is only scratching the surface of his work in 2008.There has been quite a few controversies that had to do with his name, Maor Levi created a project named Deadrat6 and a another project was created by the name of Sinterklaa5.Both of these were sounding alike with the real Deadmau5. As a come-back he made a track named after these copycats. With all that said, he is a well respected DJ who is worth your attention. So come down to Congress Theater this Saturday and you will see who is the king of electro house!
