The Rush Street seems to be the home of many excellent nightclubs today, and Bar Chicago is one of the top ones. Recently nominated for the Best Singles Scene and the Best Pick-up Bar, Bar Chicago gathers some of the most colorful crowd around, from college students to clubbers, conventioneers and tourists.
As you enter the door, you are welcomed by a raw, yet well thought interior, dotted with a series of funny pictures that really warm up the place. Moving to the second floor of the club, the post-collegiate anti style becomes more and more visible, which distinguishes Bar Chicago from the rest of the bars in the area.
You won’t find here slick and stylish models, nor up tight professionals sipping a cocktail. Bar Chicago promotes raw, old-fashioned fun, with females dancing on the bar and shot ceremonies. This is a great location for people who want to party unrestrained on party favorites like the beach Boys or Naught by Nature. The central DJ boot will surely lure you to join the dance floor and sing along all night. On the bar you can serve up to 10 beer varieties (no draft beer though) and all traditional cocktails.
The original Bar Chicago was founded in NY, 11 years ago, but the essence of the fun & good old partying was well preserved and reconstructed in the Chicago location. Bar Chicago is a great contributor to Chicago Nightlife.
